We welcome you to Whāingaroa! We’re a small west coast community of around 3,500 people with a thriving hub of artists, musicians, surfers, and all-round good humans (and the odd roaming dog).

Prior to your arrival, the best place on the internet to get info for all things accommodation, places to eat and extra things to do is here. We encourage you to support our amazing local restaurants and cafes – in summer they are incredibly busy but you’ll hopefully have a little more space over the festival weekend to exploreMost Raglan cafes are within a five minute walk of the Old School Arts Centre and The Raglan Club. To give you an idea of what’s on offer, you can see that you don’t have to wander for long to find something to eat in Raglan!

We heartily encourage you to get on board the Plastic Free Raglan kaupapa while you're in our beautiful town - don't forget to bring your reusable coffee cup, drink bottle, eating utensils and containers to enjoy any food sea-side and single-use free! If you forget, take the time to dine-in with ceramic or reusable options, or borrow an Ugli-mug from one of the locations you'll see around town.

The Raglan Club has a section of parking for self-contained caravans and motorhomes, and this is secured on a first-in-first-served basis. For more information, you can contact the Club here. There is also nearby Raglan Holiday Park, which is a short walk from town via the footbridge.

It’s not called the ‘Wild West Coast’ for nothing – bring clothing to account for 4 seasons in one day!

We would like to thank our sponsors again – thanks for making the first RUF happen! We couldn’t have done it without you!
